Plainfield 202 School District

Yes — Kidinary Cooking Academy partners with Plainfield School District 202 to bring hands-on cooking enrichment programs to students across the district. Beyond district-wide partnerships, Kidinary has dedicated afterschool programs at Grande Park Elementary (Mondays and Thursdays) and Wallin Oaks Elementary (Fridays). All programs are nut-free, allergy-friendly, and fully supplied. Check the class calendar or contact us for current availability.

Kidinary currently has dedicated afterschool cooking programs at two Plainfield 202 schools: Grande Park Elementary — classes every Monday and Thursday from 3:50–4:50pm — and Wallin Oaks Elementary — classes every Friday from 3:45–4:45pm. Both programs are open to enrolled students only. We also offer public weekly classes at PCC/Sportsplex in Plainfield, open to all families regardless of school enrollment.

Yes! Even if your child’s school doesn’t currently have a Kidinary afterschool program, they can join our public weekly classes at PCC/Sportsplex in Plainfield — open to all families with no school enrollment required. Sessions run every Tuesday for Mini Chefs (ages 4–8) at 5:15pm and Jr. Chefs (ages 9–13) at 6:30pm. If you’d like to bring Kidinary to your child’s school within Plainfield 202, reach out — we’re always open to new school partnerships.

Registration for school-based programs at Grande Park Elementary and Wallin Oaks Elementary is done through our Sawyer booking calendar. Your child must be enrolled at the respective school to participate. Spots fill quickly each semester, so register early.
